I began my career at Morgan Stanley before transitioning into Venture Capital, where I led early-stage investments. During my time in VC, I realized that women-led companies—particularly in the Middle East—were not receiving the attention or funding they deserved. This inspired me to launch Anqa Ventures, an advisory firm dedicated to helping women-led businesses across MENA secure funding and support. Building on this mission, I also founded Waad Women Investing, an investment circle designed to challenge the stigma around women and investing. Through financial education and investment opportunities, we aim to empower more women to take charge of their financial futures and actively participate in the investment landscape. I would love to host a dinner to get more women to open up about why they are hesitant to invest within a safety, community space so that we can work towards combating these hesitances and allow women to create wealth for themselves and their families through investment income.
